FUTURE CHURCH LEADERS NEEDS MORE THAN A THEOLOGY DEGREE. Antioch Northwest provides a robust apprenticeship for church leaders. Earn a Masters, lead with a mentor and learn by doing in a gospel-centered community on Jesus’ mission.

Home

Our Mission: Matthew 28:19

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.

Our Method: 2 Timothy 2:2

What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

A New and Ancient Approach: Knowledge. Character. Skills.

The Apostle Paul told his apprentice Timothy to watch his life and doctrine closely.  Potential church planters and leaders who are learning in the context of a church plant under the mentoring of seasoned church planters will go on to effectively make disciples not only in knowledge, but also in their skills and character.

Antioch Northwest equips both established and future church planters, elders, local church leaders and members of church planting teams to effectively make disciples in the context of gospel-centered churches on Jesus’ mission.   We focus on developing the whole person in knowledge, skill and character with the aim of producing leaders whose:

  • KNOWLEDGE is rooted and shaped in the Gospel and its implications for all of life (HEAD)
  • CHARACTER has been observed and tested as they live and serve their church community and their city (HEART)
  • SKILLS have been developed in the life and mission of the local church (HANDS)

Antioch NW develops the whole person so that upon completion we can present qualified ministers of the Gospel to the church that are rooted in the Gospel and are committed to making disciples in the life and mission of the local church.

Antioch Northwest offers a 3-year apprenticeship program for emerging leaders.  You will study a rigorous curriculum that connects you with historic, orthodox Christianity while living and ministering in the context of a local church. Once you complete the apprenticeship you will know the core doctrines of Christianity, have an accredited Masters in Ministry, have guided experience in all critical areas of pastoral ministry, and have had an experienced leader speak into your life and character. We believe this pattern was modeled for us by Paul and his missionary team and is the best way for churches to train the next generation of leaders.
